The ferries Tinker Bell and Akka were put into service in 2001 as Peter Pan (V) and Nils Holgersson (VI) for the Travemünde - Trelleborg ferry route. The largely identical ships are equipped with a restaurant, fitness center, cinema and shop. The two ships are so-called “Green Ships”. They are equipped with modern and environmentally friendly diesel-electric pod drives. The Akka was commissioned under the name Nils Holgersson in August 2000 and delivered in July 2001. At the beginning of 2022 she received her new name, Akka. The Tinker Bell was commissioned in March 2001, delivered in October 2001 and entered service as Peter Pan. She received her new name in December 2022. With the takeover of the new Nils Holgersson and Peter Pan in 2022, the ships were renamed Tinker Bell and Akka.
